Welcome to DTC Rwanda Guest Wi-Fi

This network is provided for guests visiting the Digital Transformation Center Rwanda.

1. Intended Use

This Wi-Fi is provided exclusively for guests visiting our office. It is intended for lawful personal and professional use during your visit.

2. Privacy and Data Collection

For bandwidth management and service quality, we may collect and monitor limited connection data such as device name, IP address, bandwidth usage, and timestamps.

This data is used solely to manage network performance and is retained for a limited period of one month in compliance with applicable data protection laws.

We respect your privacy and do not monitor or record the content of your communications or browsing activity.

3. Security Measures

GIZ RW/BI implements technical and organizational measures to protect users and maintain network security.

However, no internet connection can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Please use either secure connections (e.g., HTTPS, VPN) when transmitting sensitive information, or do not transmit sensitive or confidential information over this network.

4. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for your device and activities while connected. Please ensure your device has up-to-date security software.

Use of the network for illegal, harmful, or disruptive activities is strictly prohibited.

Prohibited activities include accessing illegal content, attempting unauthorized access to other devices, distributing malware or spam, and excessive bandwidth use that disrupts service for others.

5. Limitation of Liability

We are not liable for any damages, loss of data, or interruptions resulting from your use of this Wi-Fi service.

6. Changes and Termination

We reserve the right to modify these terms or suspend access at any time, especially in case of misuse.
